BETA Club

Beta Mission Statement:

The purpose of the National Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

Ø Achievement - Recognizing and honoring high academic achievement.

Ø Character - Preparing young people for life and empowering them to be successful.

Ø Leadership - Developing the leaders of tomorrow.

Ø Service - Demonstrating our motto: "Let us lead by serving others."

Meeting Date: The first Thursday of the month in room 515.

Meeting Time: 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Requirements: Students grades 7 and 8 who have a 90 or above average with no behavior referrals. Even if a 6th grader was a member of a Division I chapter in elementary school, they must be invited and accepted into our Division II Beta chapter only after receiving their first report card in middle school.

Major Activities: Community service projects, Georgia convention, fundraisers.

Junior BETA Club

Welcome to the Miller Jr. BETA Club! The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to be tomorrow's leaders.

Miller Middle School is a proud Junior Beta Club chartered school which promotes the four ideals of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Students who have demonstrated outstanding academics, shown worthy character, and maintained a commendable attitude are cordially invited to join. In addition to the academic requirement, Jr. Beta students must be able to meet the qualifications set forth for strong leadership skills and service to others.
